Design for remote collaboration
As larger corporations like Ericsson and Semcon increase their mobility, so too increases the demand for tools that assist creative and efficient collaboration. Our scope was to investigate what the crucial parameters were from a user perspective when holding a meeting remotely. Methods used included contextual inqury, interviews, observations, and workshops.
We observed over 20 meetings and held approximately 30 interviews and workshops in order to investigate reasons and behaviours behind why remote work was seemingly less efficient. Our findings and insights lead the way for a concept prototype which aims to solve for unmet needs in the remote working environment.
